Generally, Japanese sizes run smaller and have a more tailored fit compared to US or European brands. We recommend the following as a guide:

• Size 1: Best for those who wear US XS–Small.
• Size 2: Best for those who wear US Small–Medium.
• Size 3: Best for those who wear US Medium–Large.
• If you are used to US/EU sizing, you may want to size up for a more relaxed fit.

Since Japanese sizing can be more compact, the most reliable way is to check the "Flat-lay Measurements" on each product page. Compare these numbers (in cm) with a similar garment you already own. Because our designs prioritize a "natural, non-restrictive fit," our fabric often has a gentle stretch that accommodates various body types.

There are two main reasons for this:

1. Artisanal Process: Each piece is hand-dyed using natural plant dyes. Because of this organic process, subtle variations in shade and tone are natural and make your garment one-of-a-kind.
2. Display Settings: Colors may also appear differently depending on your monitor or device settings (such as brightness, color profile, or "night mode").

We strive to represent our colors as accurately as possible, but we hope you enjoy the unique, lived-in character of your specific piece.

Not at all. This is called "skewing," a natural characteristic of organic knit fabrics. Since we avoid harsh chemical stabilizers to keep the fabric pure, the fibers may shift slightly. Simply reshape the garment while damp to maintain its original silhouette.

For the first few washes, especially for darker plant-dyed colors like Indigo or Sumi-Black, we recommend washing separately. Natural pigments may bleed slightly at first. Once the color sets, you can wash it with similar colors using a laundry net.

Please use a pH-neutral, mild detergent. Avoid anything with bleach or optical brighteners, as these will cause the natural plant colors to fade prematurely.

To minimize shrinkage, always wash in cold or lukewarm water and avoid the dryer. Air drying in the shade is the best way to keep the fibers healthy and the colors vibrant.

We want you to love your Yinyang wear. If you receive a defective item or the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund immediately.

For international orders, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind" (e.g., color preference, size doesn't fit) due to the high cost of international shipping and potential customs complications.
